Suntrust
SunTrust is a southeast regional bank based in Atlanta. They engaged with Publicis Sapient to reorganize and redesign their website.
As part of our redesign efforts we wanted to leave the in-house team with a set of templates and components to guide them beyond the time they would be engaged with us. For a business like SunTrust, their website should never be static and we believed it was important to help their teams continue to produce work that was similar to the pages that we were redesigning for them. I was tasked with creating a series of easy to understand templates and then to apply them to an example so the client could see how they work. There was a lot of uncertainty from the client that that these templates would carry them through the most complicated sections of their site. The example shown below was what they considered to be the most complicated flow and we were able to show them when viewed through the lens of the templates that these pages were in fact not that complex.
The OnUp Movement was a SunTrust program with the goal of empowering people through financial literacy so that they would feel more confident when they had to make financial decisions. This program was built around the OnUp Challenge which was a questionnaire that helped users understand their goals and to lead them towards a path that would help them reach those goals. Below are a series of wires of some of the OnUp pages.
Along with the wires I had to create annotations that were to be used by the development team when building the pages.
This is the wire for the SunTrust Find Us page. Along with giving the user a map and directions, we also provided some basic information about the brand, such as a photo, the hours, contact information and the services provided.
Within the brand we worked with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey which is the investment banking side of SunTrust. While these pages need to maintain a similar feel to the main SunTrust site these stakeholders did have specific needs and expectations that were different from the primary SunTrust user.
During our reorganization Digital Banking was a section that caused some confusion and as part of the task of working through this I was asked to create a detailed sitemap that would include a description and CTAs so that the stakeholders could better understand what each page was and what would be happening on the page.
